The Ficus altissima is a highly-sought-after houseplant that is loved for its large dark green and chartreuse variegated leaves with pronounced veining. This plant has the potential to reach great heights and is far less finicky than the the better-known fiddle-leaf fig.
Care: Moderate
Light: Performs best in bright, indirect light.
Water: Allow the top 2-3" of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. The Ficus altissima prefers soil that is moist, but not soggy. Do not allow the soil to sit in standing water.
Growth Habit: Upright
Fertilize: Once a month during the spring and summer months with a diluted, well-balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
